Chinese New Year! Meets

This is a review that was ... I have it in draft three weeks ago, lol ...

On Sunday February 14 Valentine's Day last coincided with Chinese New Year. And I, though a little hate crowds, I was! I wanted to walk around and delve into an ancient culture, and by the way ... buy a sword!

Desencontro I met with the guys and Wushu, I tried to eat something in the crowd without much success (fortunately already had lunch), chusmiƩ for jobs here and there and discovered some of calligraphy! Yes, again ... is that I want to tattoo my name (my totem) in Chinese, next to the image of the chinchilla.
So I learned some things about writing in Chinese. To begin with three systems, and the Japanese! A real headache: a traditional ideograms, one modern, another phonetic. Or so I understood. The point is that in two places got different results (and also different too, with which I did in the post Bonodori calligraphy). I asked to write "chinchiya" or "chinchiya" and this is what I got::

CHIN CHI HUO: people in this job and had no idea how scriber what I was asking, so talking to all this came out. The first two ideograms translated as "fortune" or "luck" and the third is "rodent", the symbol of the rat in the Chinese horoscope, which is my sign. Words would be translated as Rat luck or fortune brings. Very pretty!:

CHI CHIN YA:
In this, the lady who wrote or spoke Castilian. A girl, apparently her granddaughter, she was translating what people asked. And this is purely phonetic.

I do not know, I think I will use both names, because I really liked the idea that transmits the first and the second is more faithful to my name!

After that, I went to buy my sword, the same business that had gone to buy my sword. Was packed with people,
like everything else, but hey, I did not require much attention, only to see the weapons they had, more or less quiet and my mind.

So also I have my chien!
I became very happy home and hang at home all things Wushu next to the fireplace: the medals (few, lol), saber, sword and a painting of a dragon that was saved.

Well and here I copy something on the Chinese New Year:

For China early next year (will be 4708), many families are still certain customs. For example, it is common to decorate the houses with figures of a fish. Is that the word "fish" in Chinese sounds like the word "abundance."
the eve of the February 14 dinner becomes a family party. One of the most popular dishes is served Jiaozi: some dumplings (gnocchi would say that about). But the interesting thing is that the word "Jiazi" literally means "sleep together and be at children," she said with a sense of good intentions rather than invitation to lust:) After dinner, many families, especially small towns, gather to play traditional games of cards or tokens (will mahjong?) while looking for TV celebrations in big cities. At midnight, in every town no matter how small it is, everyone gathers to enjoy the fireworks display prepared for the occasion and usually include the figure of the year, in this case is the tiger.

Another habit that can not miss is the Dragon Dance. Dragons are animals that bring legendary supernatural powers, good fortune, fertility, balance and wisdom. Therefore plays a special role in the new year celebrations in the form of this dance. articulated figures of dragons, which will be carried by several or many participants, are made by artisans. Specially trained dancers the steps and swaying movements of the body of the dragon that you can wander through a special parade. The dragon dance has become the most visible symbol, along with fireworks, Chinese New Year around the world.

What lies Year of the Tiger?
According to Chinese zodiac, the tiger is a sign characterized by warm, loving, independent, free and fun, extremely charismatic, magical, and is associated with good communication skills and social relationships. The Year of the Tiger will be governed by the courage and new challenges. A favorable cycle for activities related to communication, children, ecological movements, social and economic activism, law, politics, sports, entertainment, arts and leadership. -> me very well for all the subject of coaching!
certainly a good year for the movement, change, novelty and curiosity. We
a great year for travel. -> hopefully! jejeje
